Central Park Region

Welcome to Central ParkWelcome to Central Park

Our small towns are nestled in the forests and near pastures of the ancient Uwharrie Mountains. Our eight counties are joined by the Yadkin-Pee Dee River and its chain of sparkling lakes. We live in close proximity to numerous growing metropolitan areas - Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, NC and Spartanburg and Florence SC - yet enjoy a quality and pace of life that sets us worlds apart.

This website is for visitors to discover some of what the area has to offer.  Click on the circular symbols below the banner picture with the Central Park logo to explore places to shop and dine, browse photos of the region, or uncover hidden gems along one of the many scenics byways in the region.
